Our instructor Margaret has had a lifelong passion for fabrics and theatrical costume design. In 2004 she was lucky to be accepted on to the first Arts Council of England Advanced Carnival Course. She learnt to hand dye silk for costumes and banners with various techniques and stunning colours. These techniques can be used to create original scarves, wallhangings and fabrics for clothing.
